Follow the steps below to create a reference for mid-term and in situ residents from your dashboard.
First, you will need to make sure that you've created an in situ stay. Please read this article for how to add an in situ stay. Once you've done this, you will need to add residents to the tenancy.
- Go to the Stays tab and select a stay
- Click on the People tab and click Add a person on the right-hand side. Add a resident, guarantor or legal occupier as required
- Fill in the form with the resident's details. Select that the resident has joined From the start of the stay
- Click Add resident to submit the information and add the resident to the stay. Next, you'll need to send them an invitation to upload their details and documents for referencing
- Once you've added a resident, you will be left on the resident details page. Click Send invitation on the task card
The resident will be sent an email invitation to submit their details and documents for referencing. Let Alliance will initiate the referencing process after they've uploaded and submitted their paperwork.
You can check referencing progress from the People tab. Click View on the resident's card to view progress. Once referencing is completed, the final report will be available on the resident details page under the People tab. Click View on the resident's card to view the final report.
