You can collect the holding deposit off Residently and mark the holding deposit as collected on your dashboard. Please read this Help Centre article for details on taking the holding deposit off-product.
If an agent has collected the holding deposit for a stay themselves, or if you've collected it by mistake instead of leaving it for Residently to collect, you can confirm that the holding deposit has been collected from the join tracker so that applicants are not asked to make the payment twice.
- Go to the Applications tab and select a stay
- Click on the Offer section of the join tracker
- Locate the fourth task card, 'Collect £ holding deposit', then click Mark as collected
- Click Confirm to mark the holding deposit as collected
