If you're getting an error message when trying to generate a contract, there may be an issue with one of the compliance certificates for that property or the additional documents that you've uploaded to the contract. Please review each certificate and each additional document you upload to ensure that it's in a valid format such as PDF, it's password-less (i.e. a key or password isn't required to view the file) and that it contains no other obscure elements such as MP4 files or GIFs.
You don't need to select the option to insert documents into the template itself when generating and issuing a contract. If the system is struggling to embed all the documents into a single contract file, you can choose not to embed the documents within the contract. All attachments are sent on the email which invites the residents and guarantors to sign the contact, so you don't actually need to embed them within the contract to ensure that the residents have seen them.
