If the 'individual paperwork' option for applicants has been enabled on your portfolio, the lead resident is able to choose who will be responsible for uploading details and documents for referencing after the offer has been approved.
If the option has not been enabled on your portfolio, the lead resident will always be responsible for uploading the details and documents for everyone on the application by default.
With the 'individual paperwork' option enabled, the lead resident can select one of two options in the offer form, either:
- I'll upload everyone's details and documents - (The lead resident will need to collect, upload, and submit everyone's details and documents for referencing), or
- I want each person to provide their own - (Everyone on the application will need to upload their own details and documents for referencing. The lead resident is responsible for submitting the application as a whole).
If the lead resident is being asked to upload details and documents for referencing on behalf of all applicants, this is because the 'individual paperwork' option hasn't been enabled on your portfolio. Please read this article for details. If you'd like the 'individual paperwork' option to be enabled on your portfolio, please send an email to partners@residently.com
Please note, once the setting is enabled on your portfolio, only new offers will have the 'individual paperwork' option displayed in the offer form. Any offers already submitted and approved will not be affected by the change, so the lead resident will still need to upload details and documents for referencing on everyone's behalf by default. Please read this article to find out who is responsible for uploading details and documents for referencing from your dashboard.
