You can manage offer intent from the Leads tab on your dashboard. You can accept the offer and start an application, reject the offer, or reject the current offer and invite the lead to submit a new offer for the same property. Follow the steps below to manage offer intent from your dashboard.
- Go to the Leads tab and select a lead card with the status 'Awaiting Feedback' or 'Offer Intent'
- Click Manage offer intent and select one of the options from the drop-down menu:
- Accept and start application - selecting this option will start an application and pre-fill some of the fields with the applicant's details from the offer intent form, such as the lead's contact details, the offer amount, move-in date, and preferred lease length. Once you've added the resident details, stay details, and stay length, click Finish to start a new stay. The status of the lead's task card will change to ‘In application’ and a link to the application will appear in the 'Spotlight' section on the card.
- Reject - selecting this option will reject the offer. Select a reason for rejecting the offer and edit the default message to the lead if you wish. The rejection email will be sent to the lead quoting these details. Tick the box Set lead to closed? to close the lead. Click Reject offer intent to proceed.
- Reject and invite new offer - selecting this option will reject the initial offer and send an email to the lead inviting them to make another offer. When you've selected a reason for rejecting and you've written a message, another email invitation is sent to the lead with these details and includes a link to a new offer form. The new offer is processed in the same way, and is displayed on your dashboard for you to manage. Click Reject and invite new offer to proceed.
