If the contract you generate requires any additional information (e.g. utilities charges, a key worker discount, pet details, or any special clauses), you can download the contract as a Microsoft Word document so that you can edit and re-upload. Follow the steps below to use the editable contracts feature on your dashboard.
- Once you've generated a contract, click Download and edit a template here
- Click Delete on the pop-up prompting you to delete the existing contract
- Click Download prefilled contract to download the contract as a Word document
- Check the details are correct, then click Confirm and download
- Make the required changes on Microsoft Word and click 'Save' to save the changes
- Upload the edited contract to your dashboard using the drag and drop facility, then click Confirm
- Click Preview and Issue once the document is uploaded
- Once you're happy, tick the checkbox and click Issue to send it out for signing
If you need to edit the contract again, repeat the steps above.
